What scheduling does
Google sends the invitations
The event is created in the calendar of the person who schedules it, with colleagues as guests. Google sends the invitations and updates; Kwoji sends no meeting emails.
A recurring slot
Weekly, every two weeks or monthly, for a year. It's a single recurring event in Google Calendar, and it keeps its time when the clocks change.
Times when everyone is free
Kwoji suggests up to six shared free times over the next two weeks, on working days between 9 am and 6 pm, in your organization's time zone. You can also enter your own.
Meet or Kwoji Live
By default, the invitation carries a Google Meet link. The organization can swap it for Kwoji Live, the voice and video built into Kwoji.

A challenge between two clubs, or a duel between two colleagues, is scheduled the same way.
Setup
Turn on a paid plan
Standard, Enterprise or the 30-day Standard trial, under Admin, then Subscription.
Connect your Google account
In the Games tab, click “Schedule a game”: Kwoji offers to connect Google Calendar.
Pick the game, the people, the time
Take a suggested time or enter your own, then confirm: Google sends the invitation.
What Kwoji sees of your calendar
Create its own events
The calendar.events permission is used to create, move and cancel the games you schedule from Kwoji.
Free or busy, no details
The calendar.freebusy permission only returns busy periods: never an event's title, content or guests.
One account per person
Everyone connects their own Google account. The access key Google returns stays on Kwoji's server: no browser ever sees it.
The questions we get asked.
Do my colleagues need a Google account?
No. Only the person scheduling connects a Google account. Guests get the invitation by email, at the address on their Kwoji account.
Does Kwoji read what's in our calendars?
No. To suggest times, Kwoji only asks Google for each person's busy periods, with no title, content or guests.
What happens on the day?
The event shows up in the Games tab for the host and the guests. From ten minutes before the start, the first person in opens the game and the others join.
Can we move or cancel a game?
The person who scheduled it can change the time, and Google lets the guests know. Canceling a recurring game cancels the whole series.
Is it available on the Free plan?
No, scheduling is for paid plans, trial included. If the organization goes back to Free, games already sent can still be canceled.
What about Outlook?
The event is created in a Google Calendar, so scheduling takes a Google account. Guests get the invitation at their email address.
