Your team's games, announced in Microsoft Teams
Kwoji posts every game that opens in a Teams channel, with the link to join. You set it up with an incoming webhook: create it in Teams, then paste its URL into Kwoji.

Setup
Open the Teams channel you want
Hover the channel, open the ••• menu, then “Connectors” (or “Manage connectors”).
Add “Incoming Webhook”
Find it in the list, click “Add”, then “Configure”, name it Kwoji and create it.
Copy the generated URL
It contains webhook.office.com.
Paste it into Kwoji
Under Admin, then Settings, paste the URL and save. Your next games are announced in that channel.
If the “Connectors” menu is missing, your Teams admin has turned connectors off. Ask them to allow them for this channel, or use a Power Automate flow: its URL, on logic.azure.com, is accepted too.

On every plan, including Free
- Every game that opens: the game, what you do in it, the player count, how long it takes and the link to join.
- The message is in the language of whoever opens the game, English or French, and doesn't name them.
- At most twelve announcements an hour for your organization, so the channel stays readable.
With the Standard or Enterprise plan
- The daily challenge, in three messages on working days, on your organization's local time. At 8 am, the announcement: today's challenge, how to play it, yesterday's winner and the closing time.
- At 12:30 pm, the midday check-in: how many colleagues have played and the live leaderboard, without points. It isn't sent if nobody has played yet.
- At closing time, 5 pm by default and adjustable under Admin, then Settings: the podium, the points and tomorrow's 8 am meetup.
- Kwoji Pulse: the line that opens the question of the week, then Thursday's reminder, sent by hand or automatically.
One channel per organization
Kwoji posts in the channel you connected and nowhere else. To switch channels, remove it under Admin, then Settings, and connect the new one.
What Kwoji does with the URL
Microsoft and Slack URLs, nothing else
Kwoji only accepts HTTPS URLs on webhook.office.com, logic.azure.com or hooks.slack.com. Anything else is refused, both in the database and on the server that posts.
Kept on the server
Once saved, the URL is never sent back to a browser, not even to the admin who pasted it. The screen only says that a Teams channel is connected.
No Teams app
Kwoji has no app in the Teams store. The webhook is all it takes to post announcements.
The questions we get asked.
Are the games played inside Teams?
No. Teams gets the announcement, and the game runs in the browser, on a computer or a phone, from the link. There's nothing to install.
Do I need to be a Teams admin?
You need to be able to add a connector to the channel. If connectors are turned off in your organization, your Teams admin has to allow them. On the Kwoji side, you need to be an owner or admin of the space.
Does the Teams message have a Join button?
No: it carries the game's link in full. The button is specific to the Slack app.
Does Kwoji work without Teams?
Yes. Colleagues join with a link, a QR code or a short code you read out, and open games show up in the Games tab. Teams is there to reach people who don't have Kwoji open.
