Kwoji Blocs, co-op Tetris for colleagues
One wall, one block each. A line only falls if everyone pitches in.
- 1–6 players
- ~3 min
- With the Standard plan
How a game goes
The whole table builds the same wall. Everyone controls their own block, which falls on its own, and a line only clears once it's complete across the whole width, so you have to split up the columns and say so out loud. The game moves through acts that get faster and faster, and the score belongs to the table: the lines you build together. When the wall overflows, it empties and you start again, without losing anything already built.
Which team, and when
Players: 1–6 players. Length: ~3 min.
It's a small-team game that works best when people can talk: in the same room, or on video with microphones on. Colleagues can watch the game from the stands.
Why it works with colleagues
Everyone steers a block. Complete lines together before the clock runs out.
A line only falls if everyone pitches in: coordination matters more than reflexes.
No line clears without the others: the game gets people talking, dividing up the work and adjusting, in a few minutes. Nobody is knocked out or singled out when the wall collapses.
