How a game goes

Each player flies a bee that collects nectar from the flowers of a shared meadow and brings it back to the hive. Staying on a flower longer earns more, but can burn it out for good; stopping in time makes it bloom again. When a hornet shows up, the whole table has to chase it off together. At the end, the nectar you delivered sets the ranking, and the state of the meadow benefits everyone.

Which team, and when

Players: 2–24 players. Length: ~3 min.

You fly your bee with a finger or a mouse, in the office or remotely, and colleagues can watch from the stands. The game's question, keep going or stop, is a natural starting point for talking afterwards about the resources a team shares.

Why it works with colleagues

Bring nectar back to the hive. Too greedy, and you burn the flower.

Every flower asks the same question, keep going or stop, and the meadow belongs to the whole table.

Everyone plays for their own score, but the meadow belongs to the whole table: a team that protects the flowers scores more than one that burns everything. And the hornet makes everyone pitch in at the same moment.
